Students live in houses owned by the Catskill Mountain Foundation in Hunter, NY. There is additional housing in the "Red Barn," which is the center of the MinM campus in Hunter. Concerts, chamber rehearsals and lessons take place in the Doctorow Center, within walking distance of student housing. All performances take place in Weisberg Hall in the Doctorow Center. Students practice either in their dorm rooms, or practice rooms in Hunter Village Square.
Students and faculty eat together in a local café, enjoying healthful meals prepared by a gourmet chef using locally grown produce.
Recreational activities include art-house film screenings at the Doctorow Center, exploring the Greene County area, trips to the top of Hunter Mountain, as well as hiking, ping-pong, badminton, cooking and much more.
